I believe my media product/text addresses my target audience by conforming to the idea of offering the audience a negotiated reading, this is similar to the uses and gratifications model previously mentioned.
The idea of negotiated reading is that the 'reader' accepts, rejects or refines their understanding in terms of a previously held view/understanding.
My media product/text conforms to the negotiated audience reading idea by allowing the 'reader' or 'target audience' to make up their own mind regarding any issues raised in the media product/text. Such as, "RIP MR C'S Good Or Bad?" this is an example of how the media product/text allows the 'reader' to choose their own personal view, opinion or understanding.
