This is the logo I used for inspiration and convention guidelines, when producing the logo for my media text production of a pop-music magazine.
This is the logo of the "NME" or "New Musical Express" magazine and conforms to the stereotypes of logos in general as it is a few letters which stand for a much longer phrase or sentence.
I have used this idea with my media text because it has a professional style to it but still uses flamboyant and bright colours in a way that reaches out and represents its target audience which much like my media text is the 'Indy' social group.
This is the logo I created by using general convention guidelines from the "NME" magazine logo.
