How I Edited The Original Images On The Double Page Spread Of My Media Text Production:

This is the original image I have chosen for the double-page spread of my media text. This is how the original image looked before I edited it using the features provided by the "Serif Page Plus X3" program.

This is the original image once I had edited it using the features provided by the "Serif Page Plus X3" program.

The first thing I did was change the image to grey by selecting the filter effect colour fill, changing the colour to black and opacity to 100%, this gives the black and white look seen here.

I then cut the image out as I believed the original background didn't suit the style of the magazine, I also did this as the cutout image of the front man of a band is a stereotypical convention of what would be featured in a pop-music magazine such as the one I am producing.
